– A plane carrying at least 62 people crashed in Brazil on Friday. – 

Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva called for a minute of silence.– 

The crash involved 58 passengers and four crew members.

The cause of the crash is currently unknown.

Lula confirmed that it appears all on board have died.

Video showed Voepass Flight 2283 plummeting to the ground in Vinhedo.

Vinhedo is about 50 miles northwest of Sao Paulo.

Sao Paulo's state fire brigade responded with seven crews to the accident site.

Voepass Flight 2283 was traveling from Cascavel to Sao Paulo.

The aircraft was an ATR-72 twin-turboprop.
