NTF\u2019s <em>Turkey Smoke <\/em>is creating a new category for competition barbecue and challenging pitmasters across the country to dream up their tastiest turkey creations. In 2019, <em>Turkey Smoke<\/em> appeared as a competition category at the biggest events in barbecue, including Memphis in May and the American Royal World Series of Barbecue, where Lampe demonstrated his turkey prowess in an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=KFJpvMHUA2w&amp;t=1s\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\">on-air demo<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As <em>Turkey Smoke<\/em> Spokeschef, Lampe will travel across the country to some of the nation\u2019s biggest barbecue events sharing his passion and expertise when it comes to preparing turkey. Throughout 2020, you\u2019ll see Lampe conducting onstage turkey barbecue demos and creating delicious grilling recipes. Up first, Lampe\u2019s unique recipe for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eatturkey.org\/recipe\/nashville-hot-turkey-legs\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\">Nashville Hot Turkey Legs<\/a> in honor of NTF\u2019s upcoming Annual Convention in Nashville.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lampe is no stranger to\nthe barbecue circuit. With over 300 awards and induction into the Barbecue Hall\nof Fame (2014), he is a prominent voice in the industry. Lampe\u2019s extensive\nresume includes nine cookbooks, appearances on the Food Network, E!
